This morning we went to the betty brinn museum with leah and connor. Early bird (leah) had us meet when they open, but it was nice cause it was dead. Jillian had alot of fun, next up the big musuem, she is obsessed with dinosaurs!!!

Jillian went to james 6th (crazy!!) bday party this afternoon with aunty and jimmy, you think someone would let their sick momma rest??? NOOO! like 3rd time ever she's skipped a nap. At least she fell over at 645pm for bed i guess!!!!

Itty Bitty

Ok, so to most moms a baby who is 90th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight wouldn't call their babies itty bitty. But, when your baby weighed in at 10lbs 15 oz and 22 inches long, and your oldest child has been "off the charts" since she was 6 months old, anything below 95th percentile is small to me!!

1 year stats:
weight: 22lbs 15 oz
height: 30 3/4"
head: 47 1/2"

Doctor even called her skinny! My itty bitty baby!! Of course Jillian had to have a "checkup" as well, she has grown and 1 1/2, 42 inches now!! and not gained a pound. She is gonna be a tall girl. We love our new doc, we were there like an hour, she is so thorough and spends so much time with us. All done for a few months now! yeh!!!

Miss Olivia's bday party was yesterday and she had alot of fun, when she was awake, ha ha. You can't win, if i would have had it at 3pm, she would have been in the middle of her nap, so i did 12 and she always naps around 1pm and sure enough, off to sleep she went! I think there was like 15 kids here, it was crazy, amazing no one spilled on the new carpet! Can't believe my baby is 1 !!!!

Day Dreaming of cake and presents tomorrow?

One year old!!! I find it slightly ironic my little birthday girl is snoozing right now, since a year ago she was making quite the ruckus at 12:15pm!!!! The last year was so fast, too fast, i literally feel like she should be 3 months old. It doesn't help she was so fast to do everything either!!! Rolling over, the hard way from back to stomach at 3 months, sitting up and crawling at 6 months, standing at 8 months, taking steps at 8 1/2 months and all out running around by 9 months. She is my rough neck for sure, she didn't even let stitches keep her down! I can't imagine life with out you my little boom- boom, happy 1st birthday baby!!!

No I have not turned into Hannibal lector, i just look in the mirror and see my "laugh lines", and realize im a few steps a way from lizard skin. Its really amazing how fast babies skin heals. Olivia had a gaping hole in her forehead, and now it looks like a minor scratch! its crazy!! She is doing very good, both girls had a cold all week, so now they have that draining cough, super fun during the night!!! Can't believe Olivia turns 1 on friday!!!!!!!! i truly feel like i just was pregnant and waiting, waiting, waiting for her to come!!!

Band aid removal not fun

Soooo, we were packing to leave for the waterpark on sat morning, and i see Jillian chasing olivia cause she has her balloon. Olivia trips and doesnt move, lifts her head and screams and all i see is blood. I grab her, she hit her head on the corner of the molding, and she has a deep cut, i can like see a layer in her head, which i later learn is layer on her skull!!! So we jump in the car, all in our jammies, head to childrens, and they take us right away, saying she will need 2 sets of stitches, its so deep, my insides are mush i feel so bad for her. So they freeze her head, put a bandage on and doc determines it didnt penetrate the skull, thank god, so one set. She gets verses, since she's so "spirited". It kicks in, she's still very "spirited" so she has to get papoosed, basically a baby straight jacket!!! She gets out of it 4 times, verses isn't gonna stop my baby!! Finally gets her stiches, screams the whole time, pretty much an experience i never want to go through again. We go home she sleeps couple hours, and wakes up in great mood, Jillian is begging to still go, so we go! We had a great time with erin and jimmy and his family. The Lake geneva waterpark was a lot of fun, just rite size for my kids. But OH my god!! 11 months old and getting stiches!! Jillian definitely tries me emotionally, but i can handle that! This blood and pain thing, ahhhhhh

Blood, bruises and bumps

I know each kid is different, but i think my two are extremes. Jillian walked later, 15 months, so she was never clumsy. I don't remember her ever bleeding or covered in bruises. Olivia is like a walking diaster! Since she started at 8 1/2 months, i knew she would have some bumps and bruises. But now she's like sprinting everywhere, thurs nite she was running so fast she tripped slammed her mouth to the ground and bleed for like a 1/2 hr. Her forehead is covered in bruises, she is such a rough neck. Jillian and her fight so hard and she just gets back up off the floor and goes for more! I guess Jillian is not gonna be my tomboy, she may like dirt and bugs, but she also likes sparkles and dresses. Pretty sure olivia is not gonna have time for any of that nonsense!!! Wonder what the third baby girl will be like :-)

Otherwise, time is just flying by, miss olivia's 1st bday is all planned, it was the fastest year of my life! Looking forward to spring, winter sucks with kids. It so nice to just open the back door in summer and let them out to burn off their nutsness.One more big snowstorm and than ready for green grass and warm breezes!!!

We booked Jamaica this week!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see my baby sis get married, drinks some pina coladas, and be kid-less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/

Not sure if you can see in the pics, olivia's got a big bump on her head, slammed into a wood ottoman foot sunday. I think jillian had like 1 bruise before she was one, with olivia im worried everytime i go to the doctor social services is gonna get called!!! 1 more month till my baby is 1!!! My little valentine!

Like yesterday!!

Still can't believe its 2010!!! Well, all the xmas is down, i lost about 10 ornaments due to boom boom's reign of xmas terror, so i couldnt wait to get it all down and save what i could!!! We had a really fun new years, out to a great dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse (and i don't even like meat that much thats how good it is!), and than for drinks. The girls had their annual grammy pj party, all went well so i feel good about Jamaica, Olivia is pretty easy going, miss cling on, that would be miss jillian, is not. The girls have been having so much fun playing with ALL their new toys, Olivia is really getting into playing with Jillian so its super cute!! I've been playing with my xmas gift too, my beautiful red kitchenaid stand mixer :-) I've made pizza dough and mashed potatoes so far. It's so nice, so much easier than the hand mixer. Can't wait to make a cake, maybe for aunty e's bday next week, big 3-1!!! It's nice to not be all nuts on the diet/workout bandwagon this year. I definitely want to eat better but the workout part is going good already!! yeh!! Hope everyone had a good new years, hears hoping this year is full of happiness and love!!

Christmas morning was alot of fun this year, Jillian woke up and remembered, "santa!!" Olivia got woken up, and was not amused!!! Then we headed to grammy's with Aunty and had a great time. Too bad santa doesnt bring a little elf to open all the presents, and another little elf to build a toy storage system!! ha, ha!!

This morning mother nature gave us a christmas present! water in the basement! fun fun!! Luckily it was less than a inch, and my husband loves his basement so we had a sewer backup rider on our policy. No drywall was affected, just carpet and baseboards. So, cleanup people came today, carpets gone, giant humidifiers going, everything disenfected. It seemed to be storm water at least. FUN! wisconsin is great, flooding in your basement in dec!! Now we can be freaks everytime it rains!! ahhh
