Today my girl turned 4! I just can't get over it! I can literally relive the day she was born like it was yesterday, i cannot believe 4 yrs have passed. Today we had a great day, we went to betty brinn and discovery world. They were ghost towns, the kids had the places to themselves, and they loved it. What a beautiful day on the lake with my favorite people!!

This afternoon jillian and I made cupcakes for school tommorrow. Her first school birthday treat!!! OF COURSE, they are blue!!! i'm sure the Ms. Lynn, her teacher, will love the kids having blue tongues!!

Jillians 4th birthday party was suppose to be yesterday, well that day was not suitable for a pool party! so luckily all our friends and famiy could make it the next day, today, which turned out to be 80, sunny and hot! perfect pool weather! probably, yikes, the last of summer i think! Jillian had so much fun, she told me, "mommy, that was the best birthday party ever. thanks!" what more can you ask for!

Fall is here!!

So, as im wrapping up my 4 day weekend i could not be happier with the weather!!! I love fall, in fact sept, oct, nov and dec are my 4 favorite months, i love the weather, the food, the holidays, everything!!! Friday was the perfect day to put out our fall decorations (yes i have totes of fall stuff!), and me and girls made a big batch of pasta sauce with the 10,000 lbs of tomatoes we harvested from our garden. Saturday morning we had our family pictures at the lakefront, it was chilly but so sunny and clear, i can't wait to see them, it was crazy watching olivia run around after jillian thinking last year she was a 6 month old peanut just sitting there! Then we got a bunch of apples from a orchard on the way home and J helped me make apple crisp (thanks leah for my favorite dessert recipe ever), and chicken dumpling soup for daddy, cause he has a sinus infection. and its the end of the world. men are such babies. sunday the girls played outside, and we all just relaxed. summer is fun, but tiring, i knew it would go by fast after my sister's wedding in Jamaica last june. This afternoon I'm actually all alone, j went to cut the grass with daddy, and baby O is fast asleep. I really never knew how nice nap time was, since Jillian never took any!! Next saturday is Jillians 4 yr old bday pary, a unicorn pool party! Tomorrow she starts preschool! we packed her backpack this morning with all her supplies, its all just unbelievable to me. I still look at her and can see that little baby that she use to be. But, she is so excited and ready to learn everything, poor teacher, ms. questions is coming to school!

Olivia Patricia 18 months

today i hobbled to the doctor with the kids for olivia's 18 month checkup. She got no shots so she was all smiles!

height: 32 1/2 inches (75%)
head: 48 cm (85%)

my little peanut! Jillian was 28 lbs and 33.5 inches at 18 mos! Hard to believe this is her last doc appt till she is 2! You feel like all you do is go to the doctor, then poof! they are going just once a year!!! Just glad she is healthy and a happy baby girl!
