Well, Miss olivia had cheerios tonite along with her peaches. She was using both hands to stuff them in her face- she is such a good eater- not one veggie or fruit so far she has not liked!! This week we are going to have yourgut and chicken!! so big!! She's started taking steps forward, of course every time we get the video camera she just smiles and stares at us. She can almost stand from the ground, she gets almost up than falls. she is crazy!! This week has been all about clapping! I feel like super mom- everything i do i get applauded for! ha!

Jillian is nonstop from sun up to sun down. The only good thing about winter is the darkness earlier!! tricks those little devils!!! little bit of jealously lately- i'm really trying to make an effort to not focus on the baby all the time- its hard- with jillian she was the whole world to me- but olivia is lucky to have a playmate.

I'm down 13 lbs- whoo hoo! 10 weeks i've been working on my fitness- i started, thanks to LeAnne, the couch potato to 5k workout this week and really like it. the time flies and i added up the mins and i ran 9 mins- furthest i've ran since HS track, ha! When we walked to the park today i felt alot better, less like a jello jiggler :-) The road is long, but the 2 kids I got in return are worth it!!!

Very excited! Just arrived

We headed up the dells Friday morning, ryan got a great deal on a "presidential condo" at the wilderness. It was the nicest room we have ever been in, If I could add one bedroom, transplant it to be located in front of a lake i could retire there. The wilderness is crazy, it was seriously a mile from our room to the water parks, and i didnt think to bring a stroller. It reminded me of disney, the shuttles, its like its own little city. It was a little hard with miss olivia- she really gets cranky with a missed nap. Friday was good, she took her morning nap on way up, her afternoon nap on the lazy river!! But, fri nite she slept bad, and was a little cranky sat. I think its so busy, too much for her little mind. But Jillian had a blast!! Of course just splashing in the shallow is fun to her- her favorite was wilderness on the lake, quiet and small waterslide. We went to out to eat alot and both girls were so good! surprisingly! This morning we went to paul Bunyan, jillian said the food was ok, but the gift shop! oh my! my pack rat was skipping around in heaven!! Oh how she loves her cheap little toys!!! Overall it was a fun trip, with 2 kids life is a blur alot, so its nice for us all to get away, take out the daily stress and relax (well try at least!).

My Genius Giant

Today was jillian's 3 yr checkup, its my 3rd time going with both girls, ALONE, and they were so good again. Our favorite doctor ever left last month, so we have a new doc. So, jillian is sitting in her little gown and Halloween undies on the table and the doc starts examining her. My daughter sniffs, looks at him than says to me, "mommy he smells!" I'm speechless, he smiles. Then, just in case we didn't understand her, she leans into me and say, "mommy that man really smells." O my, talk about akward. So, he leaves the room, and I said, Jillian its not nice to say someone smells, and she said, 'but mommy he smells like strawberries."OH, guess it was my fault to assume he smelled bad! So, Jillian is above 97th%, as always, she is:

They doctor said, she is gonna "be a tall one."So, that is the giant part. And she had to get 1 shot, eventhough they told her she didnt need one, really ticking me off. she did good, her and curly shirley (doll) got bandaids.

So, the nurse gave us the "smart sheet" to see were your kid is. She said, don't worry if you can only do a couple, its for 3-7 yr olds. Jillian could only not do one- the balancing on one foot! She knew all the animals, colors, body parts, adjectives, all of it! So i'm thinking she will be a 6ft brain surgeon, ha, ha!!

I wasn't too impressed with this doc, anyone have a good doc in OC area? I want it to be convenient for me to come from work and get them at grammys.

Today Olivia is 8 months old!! So, i followed her around with my camera for 5 minutes, and these are all the places we went! She is one busy little bee! The drool queen even lost her shirt!

So, there was an incident friday at grammy's, it involved olivia, jillian and a tv stand. Let's just say the Tv stand didnt push her, i'm pretty sure! poor thing. She's gonna be a toughie. So, saturday after al's run (note to self- do not bring an umbrella stroller on a 3 mile walk, you will walk with a hunch for days) i took a shower while ryan cut the grass. Put the baby in her crib, jillian was playing in her room. i come out, don't hear anything but giggling, look in jillians room, empty, olivia's room- and she's got a roomie! I guess she must have climbed on the rocker? i love it when people say to me, "oh, you are lucky you have girls, boys are so wild, always climbing and into trouble" OK, i guess i have a couple tomboys on my hands huh?

Thanksgiving is not her favorite holiday

Yesterday I promised Jillian we would go to the pumpkin farm this afternoon, cause the weatherman said it would "just be raining this morning". Well, LIAR, liar, I can assure it was raining, cause I was sitting on a pile of wet hay riding around in a mud river!! Jillian was oblivious, and had a blast, so that's all that mattered!! And she looked cuter than cute in those rain boots!!

Olivia has already mastered her sippy cup, it took jillian forever i felt. I remember panicking at the 1 yr supposed bottle cut off date! She is so determined- she can stand on her own for almost 10 seconds now- she just keeps trying. I wonder what its like to have patience??

Well after 4 nites of living with a newborn again (olivia was ready to play at 3am), last nite was back to normal. Fingers crossed for tonite!! Suprisingly, i still passed my 2nd state cert test wed- so ha ha sleep- who needs ya?!? Just kidding- i'm sure ill pay for that remark!!! Happy October 1st everyone!!!

Oh, there is nothing like your first born child! Our lives completely changed the minute Jillian Marie entered our world at 5:20am September 22nd, 2006. Everything revolved around her, we spent hours watching her sleep, listening for every noise, waiting for every facial expression, taking a million pictures! Ryan arranged her pictures by the week, up until 4 months- we had probably 200 pictures a week!! My shy little baby became a shining star, I definitely think she will be in drama, she loves to perform! In her bath she has little plays with the toys, and tells me what to say- a little director! She is funny, strong willed, stubborn and has a memory you can't believe. You can never say anything to her you don't mean, she will bring it up, days later, and believe me- you better not have been fibbing! This last year she has changed the most, and its definitely been the hardest for me, cause its losing the babyness, and once its gone, its gone. We were driving to the store Saturday, and I had no diaper bag, just her singing in the background. I remember i use to just hope she would be good, and not throw a tantrum or poop or whatever, and now, all the sudden, its just me and her- my buddy. The baby is at home with daddy, the little girl, my sweet Jillian is with me, in her big girl car seat with the big girl underwear on and carrying her purse. She is 3, and I am so proud to be her mom.
